Antigua Racing Cup

ANTIGUA RACING CUP 2026

8th -12th April

2026 sees the launch of The Antigua Racing Cup, a bold new addition to Antigua’s yachting calendar kicking off a month of exciting sailing events"

Later in the month is Antigua Sailing Week  which is a return to a more ‘rally’ concept visiting different parts of the island

The Antigua Racing Cup is an event for racing purists—those who prefer high-energy, coastal racing with a fast-paced schedule and a focus on spirited competition. The event will feature 4 days of exhilarating races in conditions envied by most – balmy temperatures, trade winds, big seas at very short distances from shore. Strategically placed in the calendar to allow teams to compete and then head off to their summer events, racers can expect finely tuned variations of the exhilarating courses they would usually associate with sailing conditions along Antigua’s spectacular southern coast, and spectators will still enjoy the breathtaking views from land, sea, or air.

Key highlights of The Antigua Racing Cup:

  • A new platform for high-performance sailing in the Caribbean
  • Convenient 4-day race schedule
  • Ideal calendar position for campaigning boats, race charters, one-design racing & professional sailors as well as Corinthian crews on our core racer-cruisers and race charterboats.

Onshore, English Harbour will continue to buzz with energy, and the social calendar will certainly remain packed. Local vendors and artisans will be there to excite every appetite not to mention the bars, restaurants, and beach venues in & around English Harbor.  All enthused to host nightly events, including live music, themed parties, and cultural celebrations that highlight the best of Antiguan hospitality

Antigua to Bermuda Race

Planned for 29th April 2026

Training from 26th April

Soon after Antigua Sailing Week we will have Spirit of Juno available for individual or small group places. Watch this space for confirmation of the event

The 935nm ocean race is managed by the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club in association with Antigua Sailing Week, and supported by the Bermuda Tourism Authority and Goslings Rum. The race is designed to suit a wide range of yachts and crew, with memorable parties both in Antigua and Bermuda.

After leaving Antigua the fleet pass Barbuda and will be out of sight of land until the finish in Bermuda. The race is an experience of about 1,000 miles of tropical Atlantic sailing - a true blue ocean adventure. Sailing in the deep, competitors will experience reaching conditions in warm oceanic swell and a magical night sky.

Antigua Sailing Week

ANTIGUA SAILING WEEK 2026

22nd - 26th April

In contrast to the ‘Cup’, Antigua Sailing Week, makes a return to its traditional point-to-point courses, as each day’s sailing will conclude at a different scenic destination. Sailors will enjoy vibrant after-race socials infused with local culture.

ASW will entertain a mix of boat types and crews, and is tailored to cruisers, rally-style participants and bareboat charter groups. Courses will be point to point for ralliers, and for those who want to compete, additional marks will be dropped, tacking duels commence and courses timed as the competitors enjoy a different coastal course each day.

We are still looking at whether we enter Juno or two more performance cruisers.  These would be available whole boat or single places.

Key highlights of Antigua Sailing Week:

  • A return to destination sailing, point to point around Antigua
  • A new, shorter format to better fit into people’s vacation schedules
  • An option to cruise point to point or race!
  • A focus on fun, fun, and more fun in the sun!

Les Voiles de St. Barth

LES VOILES DE ST BARTH RICHARD MILLE 2024

Ondeck are delighted to be a part of the 2024 edition of Les Voiles de Saint Barth Richard Mille which will take place between 16th - 22nd April 2024 (Training Day on the 16th ).

3 days of racing followed by the legendary lay day on Nikki Beach before 2 more days racing finishing on Saturday 22nd.

The past years have seen this event grow dramatically with the 2024 event promising to be the best ever in this unique and sophisticated small island.

As for the other regattas, our Farr 65 will be the head boat for individuals and small groups to join in the racing.

We also have Blueprint, our First 36.7, available with new race sails. She is available for whole boat charter only.

Cost for Blueprint is $12,500 - whole boat bookings only.

Spirit of Juno is our 'head boat' meaning that individuals or small groups can join the team for an event.  We normally have around 4 pro crew on board so can take a mix of experienced racers as well as a few novices.

She is a physical yacht with no powered winches so there are plenty of jobs even for a big crew and you will not be 'rail meat' as we try and involve our guests in many of the roles on board.

She usually achieves podium positions at the major regattas and attracts a strong and loyal following with many strong friendships built.
