Challenge the Race – Start 16th May 2022, 10:00 am
Training starts in Antigua 13th and back to Antigua 20th
This will be the second running of the race with 2021 proving the concept. It is a unique concept in Caribbean racing offering 3 different courses and 5 different start and finish points around the Windward Islands [Start line and finish line will be the same]
Ondeck is offering participation onboard its Farr 65 Spirit of Juno for individuals and small groups. We will have at least one days training in Antigua before the delivery to our chosen starting line/island. We return to Antigua after the event making flight and accommodation booking simpler
It is a fantastic opportunity to try your hand at ocean racing in a warm water environment
Spirit of Juno will compete in the Windward-500, Course A, its a 500 nm race round Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, round Diamond Rock off Martinique, a beat to windward to pass a waypoint off Sandy Lane on the West Coast of Barbados, and a run down to Grenada.
We will make a decision on our starting line /island over the coming months
