The yachts have two bathroom facilities and are certificated to the highest safety standards. Capacity is 12 guests.
Life On Board An Ocean Racing Farr 65
The Farr 65 is a racing yacht so accommodation is fairly basic. You’ll have your own bunk which is a good size and there are two heads (bathroom facilities) which are shared with all the crew members.
The boat can accommodate up to 15 people including a skipper and 2 crew so it can be rather cosy but it is not often full to capacity. This means there is often extra space for luggage and sometimes communal areas. The galley is functional and compact with a gas stove and oven.
For meal times, everybody tends to take their turn to cook and wash up although it is a fairly relaxed schedule. You definitely get to know the people you’re living with onboard and it makes for a unique adventure!
